Ok, ok, ok.  Let’s all just chill out for a second and look at this.  Yes, the Dow had the largest point loss today, but not the largest percentage loss.  Look at October of 1987 for a real scare.
If you’ll see, we’re still at a higher close than we were 3 years ago.
Granted, I don’t know shit about shit.  But, all this talk of breadlines and 1929 seems a little premature to me.  Remember, fear sells newspapers.  Unfortunately, in finances, it’s toxic and self-fulfilling.
