The Karate Kid, Gremlins, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Ghostbusters, Police Academy and Beverly Hills Cop all came out in 1984. I can’t think of a year that had a higher caliber of film. Hmmm. Maybe 1991. It had Terminator 2, JFK, The Addams Family, The Last Boy Scout, Point Break, and City Slickers.
